The city’s sheer size and its unusually high share of independent and discount stations — strung along King George Boulevard, Fraser Highway, Scott Road and 152nd Street — force the national majors to price harder here than anywhere else in the region. The Scott Road corridor in particular is a magnet for price-conscious drivers from New Westminster and North Delta, and it is frequently home to the single cheapest pump in Metro Vancouver.
