Alert FAQs
How do gas price alerts work?
Pick what you want to hear about: a target price, or the daily forecast. We'll email you when Vancouver's cheapest regular gas hits your target, or on mornings when our predictor says prices are about to jump. Confirm your address once and you're set — no account, no app.
How often will you email me?
Sparingly. Price-drop alerts are sent at most once every 24 hours, and only when the cheapest price is at or below the target you set. The daily forecast only emails you on mornings when the verdict is “fill up today” — never more than once a day.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. CheapGasVancouver.ca is supported by small, non-intrusive ads.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. We never share or sell your email address, and we only use it to send the alerts you asked for.
Why do I have to confirm my email first?
To comply with Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) and to make sure nobody can sign up your address without permission, we send a one-time confirmation link. You won’t receive any alerts until you click it.
