Burnaby Gas Prices Today

Live prices at every Burnaby station we track, sorted cheapest first and refreshed hourly. Cheapest right now: 198¢/L at Canco & Pacific Express.

Burnaby is the refinery city of Metro Vancouver — the Parkland refinery on Burrard Inlet produces roughly a quarter of the region’s gasoline — but that does not translate into refinery-gate prices at its pumps. What actually keeps Burnaby competitive is geography: the city sits astride every east-west route out of Vancouver, and the long retail corridors of Kingsway, Hastings, Lougheed Highway and Marine Way carry enough stations that the majors have to watch each other block by block.

The best value tends to cluster where the volume is: the Kingsway strip through Edmonds and Highgate, the Marine Way big-box corridor near Byrne Road, and the Hastings stations that trade directly against East Vancouver across Boundary Road. One caution for bargain-hunters: Burnaby has no Costco gas bar — the nearest ones are in Port Coquitlam and Langley — so don’t plan a fill around one. The list below ranks every Burnaby station we track by current price, refreshed hourly.

Gas in Burnaby: FAQ

Where is the cheapest gas in Burnaby?

The Kingsway corridor through Edmonds and the Marine Way stations near the Big Bend retail area usually post the lowest Burnaby prices, with the Hastings strip competitive against East Vancouver. The live list above shows today’s exact ranking.

Does Burnaby have a Costco gas bar?

No. Despite Burnaby having Costco warehouses, there is no Costco gas bar in the city — the only Metro Vancouver gas bars are in Port Coquitlam and Langley. The cheapest open-to-everyone Burnaby pumps are on the Kingsway and Marine Way corridors.

Why doesn’t the Burnaby refinery make Burnaby gas cheaper?

Pump prices are set by the regional wholesale (rack) price plus taxes and retail margin, not by proximity to the refinery. Every Metro Vancouver station buys at essentially the same rack, so Burnaby’s advantage comes from retail competition, not the refinery next door.
