The gas prices displayed on CheapGasVancouver.ca are sourced from a third-party Canadian fuel price data API and are provided for informational purposes only. They are intended to give Vancouver drivers a general idea of relative price levels across stations — not to guarantee the exact price you will pay at any specific pump.
Prices May Differ at the Pump
Gas prices in Vancouver can change multiple times per day. Major chains (Chevron, Shell, Petro-Canada, Esso) often adjust prices simultaneously across their networks in the early morning hours, but prices can also move during the day in response to wholesale market movements.
Because our data is sourced from a third-party API that updates on its own schedule, there may be a delay of one to several hours between when a station changes its price and when that change appears on our site. We display a "last updated" timestamp for each station to help you gauge data freshness.
Always verify the price displayed on the physical pump dispenser before you begin fuelling.
No Liability for Price Reliance
CheapGasVancouver.ca, its owners, and affiliates are not responsible for any financial loss, inconvenience, or other damages arising from reliance on the prices displayed on this Site. This includes but is not limited to situations where:
- A price shown is higher or lower than the actual pump price when you arrive.
- A station listed on the map has closed, changed brands, or is temporarily out of fuel.
- The API data contains an error introduced by the upstream provider.
- A station's price changes between when you check this Site and when you arrive.
Seed / Fallback Data
When live API data is unavailable, the Site may display fallback "seed" prices that were pre-loaded as representative examples. These seed prices are clearly dated and should be treated as approximate historical reference points only, not current prices.
No Affiliation with Gas Stations
CheapGasVancouver.ca is not operated by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any gas station chain, fuel company, or oil refinery. Station rankings are purely algorithmic — sorted by price (cheapest first) and/or distance from the user's location. No station pays to appear higher in the list.
